My Ramblings About My DOT Com World
What is Affiliate Marketing heading to? Will there be a Next Generation?
Hey All,
How are you doing today, first of all thanks for your feedback for my first video blog post
I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately this won’t be a video post, instead I want just to talk to you about affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing for those who don’t know can be simplified into one word “S.O.P.S”
Selling Other People’s Stuff!
You just direct TARGETED people to related product that they are interested in and when you buy, you take money or so called commission, easy right?
Many people really succeeded in doing that but it has lots of problems because either you get paid traffic through PPC or buying ads OR if you budget was tight then you need to take really lots of time as you need to write articles, submit links to directories, blog commenting and more, you can go to my traffic article to see ways to get FREE traffic.
Even after all that, it is so hard to convince someone to buy something from you especially through this recession.
So what?
Won’t you ever give it even a try??
I’ve been lately studying the latest trend of affiliate marketing which is CPA network, I really believe that will be the next generation of affiliate marketing, because people
Can not only learn $10,000 per month
Can not only learn $20,000 per month
Can not only learn $50,000 per month
THE BIG ONE COMES NOW
I know people who have earned $100,000 A DAY!!!! FROM CPA NETWORKS
WOW, did you see this before??
That is what I truly believe will become the next generation of affiliate marketing
So what is CPA??
CPA is a shorten term for “Cost Per Action”, let me give you an example
You have made a simple landing page describing a FREE offer that just need their name and email address and some simple information (some of the offers require credit card, but most are just trials that customers can just cancel immediately so it is a lot easier to convince them)
and TADA you got money!
really this offers range from $20-$50 per offer!!
so if you just make an adwords campaign that you gets you ONLY one offer per day
Then that’s $1,500 per month, and again fully automated you don’t need to do anything
And the conversion rates of these offers are really amazing, you can literally expect somewhere between 25% – 30% !!
So What can you do now?
I hope you are now thinking how can I participate in these CPA networks? and especially they just don’t accept anybody!!
We will see that next post

One learns something new every day.
So CPA is a bit like PPC except you are getting paid for someone clicking rather than Google?

CPA sounds great, but I have had the experience that some of the CPA networks are a bit hard to get into, isn’t that right?
BTW, I would like to install the cute little “ReTweet” button on my posts on my blog, could you let me in on where to go to get it? Ta!

Mohamed:
I’ve tried some CPA, and didn’t have any luck with conversions at all. It depends a lot on the offer and what context you run the ads in (blog, contextual, PPC, search vs. content network).
By the time you’ve tested all the variables you can be out a chunk of dough…
The other part of that that I couldn’t wrap my brain around yet is CPA and list building…
Anything you can post to shed more light will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Mohammad,
CPA seems to be the latest hot topic.
Over the last few weeks I’ve being getting emails promoting various training courses.
I don’t want to get distracted from the Alex Jeffreys plan, but if you have found a CPA system that works, I’d love to hear more.
Speak soon,
John
